Garde-Malade accepts returns and exchanges for the vast majority of products sold. Please note that for our final sales, i.e. our embroidered and personalized clothing, the sale section and all other final sale items, no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
30-day return policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after the reception of your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with the tag still attached to the garment, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your order number.
Whether you've simply changed your mind or the product isn't right for you, you can return it within 30 days of the date you received it for a refund.
In the case of a return, a shipping fee of $8.99 will be deducted from the total refund, while in the case of an exchange, we will cover the shipping costs.
Items returned without a return request will not be accepted.
You can make a return or exchange
To be eligible for a refund, your items must meet the following conditions:
- Be clean and free of unusual odors or pet hair.
- Be in their original packaging, with labels still attached to the items.
- Be in their original condition (no signs of wear); Garde-Malade will not issue refunds for garments with visible signs of wear.
All products are rigorously inspected upon receipt. Garde-Malade will not issue refunds for items that do not meet the above conditions.
Garde-Malade reserves the right to refuse a return that does not meet these conditions and return it to the customer at his expense. In this case, restocking fees may apply.
How do I return a product?
To return a product, please follow the steps below:
- Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us which products you wish to return, along with your order number.
- We will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours with a PR code by e-mail. Please place the products in a shipping bag. Bring the items to a Canada Post office with your shipping bag and PR code. The clerk will ship your return package to us free of charge on site.
You won’t need a return address or return label, just the PR code.
Additionally, since you are responsible for the return of the package, we strongly recommend that our customers keep the tracking number given to you by Canada Post, so that you have all the information you need in the event of a problem with the delivery. In the event of a problem, no refund will be possible without the tracking number.
- Please allow one to two weeks for receipt and inspection of the products at our premises. The purchase price of the item will then be refunded to you by the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
You will receive an e-mail when the return is processed. A fee of $8.99 will be deducted from the total refund to cover shipping costs. From this point on, please allow two to five business days for your bank to send you the funds.
How do I exchange a product?
- Let us know that you would like to make an exchange by emailing us at email@example.com with your order number.
- We'll get back to you within 24 to 48 hours with instructions on how to proceed.
In addition, since you are responsible for the return of the parcel, we strongly recommend that our customers keep the tracking number given to you by Canada Post, so that you have all the information in hand in the event of a problem with the delivery. In the event of a problem, no refund will be possible without the tracking number.
Return of defective, damaged or incorrect products
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the merchandise upon receipt. If a product is defective, damaged or does not correspond to the invoice, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your items at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please leave the labels on the product.
Attach photos of the product in question and your order number to your e-mail. We will contact you within 24 to 48 hours and replace your item at no additional charge.
Returns are generally processed within a maximum of 3 days. Only after we have acknowledged receipt of the package and verified that the contents are in perfect condition can we begin the return process. During peak periods and promotions, the returns process may take up to 5 working days. You will receive an email when the return is processed. From that point on, please allow two to five business days for your refund to be issued to the payment method you used at the time of purchase.

To ensure prompt processing of your request, please do not send multiple requests one after the other, as we respond to requests in chronological order. Sending several e-mails could unfortunately delay the response time by more than 48 hours.
