30-day return policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means that you have 30 days after receipt of your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, labeled, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Whether you have simply changed your mind or the product is unsuitable, you may return the merchandise within 30 days of the date of receipt of your items for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges. Items returned without a prior request for return will not be accepted.
How do I return a product?
For any return of merchandise, here are the steps to follow:
- Contact us at email@example.com and let us know which products you wish to return, including your invoice number.
- We will promptly return a return label to you by email. You will be able to place the product in its box or shipping bag, print the label and affix it to the package. We will tell you where to send your package.
Allow one to two weeks for receipt and inspection of the product at our premises. Thereafter, the purchase price of the item will be refunded to you by the same method of payment used for the purchase. You will receive an email when the return is processed. If it is an exchange, we will cover the price of delivery. If it is a refund you are requesting, you will cover the price of delivery. From that point on, calculate two to five business days before you receive the refund.
All products you wish to return must be mailed to our warehouse. You can also make a return in person directly to our warehouse on weekdays, by appointment only. Contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.

Products must be in new condition
The products must be in perfect condition, in new condition, with the exception of defective or damaged products. This means that the product must meet the following conditions:
- Be in its original packaging, with labels and instruction booklets.
- Be in its original condition (without any trace of wear and tear). Garde-Malade will not authorize any refund of clothing with visible signs that it has been worn.
- Be clean and free of unusual odours or animal/hair odours
All products are rigorously inspected upon receipt. Garde-Malade will not authorize any refund for items that do not meet the above mentioned criteria.
Garde-Malade reserves the right to refuse a return that does not respect these conditions and to return it to the buyer at the latter's expense. In some cases, restocking fees may apply.
Return of defective, damaged or incorrect products
It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the goods upon receipt. For a defective, damaged or not corresponding to the invoice, please contact us within 7 days following the reception of your merchandise at email@example.com.
Include photos of the product in question and your order number with your shipment. We will contact you as soon as possible and proceed with the replacement of your item at no additional cost to you.

Garde-Malade accepts returns for the vast majority of products sold, including those at a discount. Please note that for our final sales, i.e. our embroidered and personalized clothing or any other final sale, we reserve the right not to accept exchange or refund in these specific cases.
Products purchased on sale
Garde-Malade accepts returns of products purchased on sale if they are in new condition.
If you wish to purchase the same product in a different size or color, but the product is no longer on sale, we will match the original price. Please contact customer service at email@example.com before placing the second order.
Exchanges at Garde-Malade
Our experience shows that it is more advantageous for everyone not to offer exchanges because it is easier to refund a product at the time of return. It's faster and easier to consider each transaction separately, so you won't have to wait for the return to be completed before ordering the right product.

- We will ask you to order the style you want (you will be able to see what is available) and return the unwanted product as soon as possible.
Return Time Limits
Returns are usually processed within 3 days maximum. Only after acknowledging receipt of the package and verifying that the contents are in perfect condition can we begin the return process. During peak periods and promotions, the return process following receipt of the merchandise may take up to 5 business days. You will receive an email when the return is processed. From that point on, please allow 2-5 business days for a refund to be issued to the payment method you used to make the purchase. (refund receipt)
